my 2 (furry) girls

Here are the dogs cuddling together on the couch, next to me of course. They don't cuddle together too often so Paul decided to take a pic!

Chef or Doctor?

Here is Bella helping me bake cookies over the weekend. I think she is either going to be a chef or a doctor. Either way it will be alot of hard work!

Paul's 'Garden'

Paul has planted alot of plants this year and is determined to plant a real garden in our yard next summer. This year we are growing cherry tomatoes (Bella's favorite!), plum tomatoes, peppers & strawberries. Hopefully they will flourish if we ever get any sunshine. They have gotten plenty of water/rain!

Bella's Graduation

So Bella had her graduation last week. They still had a week of school afterwards to attend but...whatever. We thought she would be her usual self and be shy and not want to sing or go up there but SURPRISE! She was center stage and one of the the stars. The teachers always tell us they put her center stage so she 'leads ' the group because when she does participate she is extremely loud. There is one other little girl who sings real loud too like Bella. They have to be close so they do not drown each other out and stay on cue together, so I am told by the teachers. They sang like 8 songs and I did every emotion from crying in the beginning to laughing so hard my cheeks hurt. Some of the songs I had heard Bella sing around the house before but never all the way through or with all the motions of some of them. It was a hoot. We had an ice cream social afterwards. Grama & Papa, Nonny & Opa, Aunty Mandy (Fresh from the airport!) and of course Mommy, Daddy and Gwen were all there.

Mrs. Liba, Bella & Mrs. Konarski

this is the "Tootie-ta-ta" song. they saved it for last because it is the kids's favorites and they enjoy it so much. All at the same time, they have to do thumbs up, elbows back, feet apart, knees together, tongue out, turn around (butt facing crowd!).

We love you beautiful Bella and can't believe you are going to kindergarden in the fall! Where has the time gone? You have blossomed so much since you started school. You act like a Christian girl should (most of the time) and we are so proud and glad that you have that foundation of religion started in your life! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

One for the books

I am laying in bed with Bella tonight and she rolls over to go to sleep and farts really loud; nothing unusual for her.

Bella: "that was a daddy fart. did you hear that?"
Me: "of course I heard that" as I cannot hold my laughter anymore...
''I hope you don't fart like that at school."
Bella: "I do."
Me: "Do you say excuse me? What if someone hears you?"
Bella: "they are talking. I don't do it during show n' tell though when everyone is quiet."

The DrEaDeD DeNtIsT

So Bella had another dentist appointment and it was torturous as usual. She had to be held down and was kicking, screaming, drooling, etc. The dentist said one day she will outgrow this. It is so strange cuz she has never been hurt there, had a cavity ,etc. She got to go the mall afterwards and we had Chick-fil-A for dinner and the girls played. So glad that is over for 6 months! Next time she goes both girls will be going becuz Gwen will be over 2! Wish me luck with that one!
Paul had a cleaning and took Bella with him as they recommended we do to get her to not be so afraid. She does so well at the doctor's office, she actually likes going to the pediatrician (maybe not after those last 4 shots though!). She did good, helped Paul with Mr. Thirsty (the suction thing) and got a bag full of prizes. I am going to take her with me when I go back in October and see if she will let Barb clean her teeth. Otherwise, we will just stick with the pediatric dentist.

Melting Pot with Mom

For an early Mother's Day present, I took Mom to Spa Night at the Melting Pot. For $35 you got a drink, cheese fondue, salad, dessert fondue and they had a whole room set up where you could get a 7-8 minute chair massage, a hand treatment, lip treatment, eye treatment. We had a ball and the night went way too fast as it always does! I ordered us a Yin-Yang martini and my Mom finished hers before I even finished mine! I will make a lush out of her yet! Only if my Dad allows her to keep hanging out with me! LOL....
