Billy's 13th @ Dave & Buster's

My cousin Billy turned 13 in March and Katie had a birthday party for him @ Dave & Buster's. Paul stayed home with Gwen since she still was alittle under the weather, had not been sleeping still, etc. So Bella & I went and my parents were there too! We actually had alot of fun!

So my parents were able to get tickets to the 1st Cavs playoff game and Paul told me he would call one of his contacts to try to get us tickets. So he did and then we ended up not being able to find anyone to watch the girls since my parents would be at the game, Paul's dad was out of town and Nonny was watching Aidan & Aaron while Chris and Mike went to a wedding. So reluctantly Paul told me to find someone to take. So I asked Liz! Paul really wanted to be there since it was my first Cavs game ever but....
We had a ball. We picked up Liz and went down to the Hard Rock for lunch. It was a gorgeous day so we walked outside alittle too. We all did not sit together. Liz and I had 6th row from the floor tickets~THEY ROCKED!!!! We had a strawberry daiquiri and Liz said 'hey, I feel like my old self again. I have not done anything fun since before Vinnie was born ( he will be 5 in December!).' But then again ,we always have fun together no matter what we are doing. We have roots all the way back to the fun we had in Cancun in 2002 (before we all had kids)!!! Liz definitely deserves a break from Vinnie and the twins and Nate too! hehehehe.

Stacy & Lisa's diaper party

On Friday April 17th, I hosted a diaper party for Stacy & Lisa. Lisa is due in a month and Stacy is due July 2nd. Only took a few pics though. The kids played outside cuz it was so nice and the adults actually got to visit, laugh, eat in peace (all night!). It was a success!
Who attended: Stacy with Ashton & Landon, Lisa & Sophia, (Lauren was at her dad's) Kristin with Grace & Ben, Liz with Vinnie, Lisa McDonald & Logan ( McKenzie was at home playing with the neighbor kids).

Back rubs

I have been giving Paul alot of back rubs lately first of all because he says I finally got good at it after 12 years of practice on him and second, he always has a sore back from working out/running/work/lifting weights/playing basketball. Gwen always helps when I am giving Paul a rub and lately she does not even want me to do it, she wants to rub Paul all by herself!

Tonight Paul and I were laying in bed with Bella and out of the blue she says 'I don't want to do work at school anymore. I just want to play.' Oh boy is she going to be in for it in the fall. I have a feeling she is going to be crabby all the time and if she has homework look out!

My girls love the Bella Dancerella dance along dvds. Here they are doing it again...they put dresses on and everything! It is one of Gwen's faves right now!

Cousins!

For a sparse moment this winter/spring all the kids were healthy (not for long though) we 'exchanged kids' while they were on spring break last week.

Gwen has been running a fever on and off all week. Here is an adorable pic of Paul putting a cold cloth on her head...she was suckin' it up! she actually liked it. Figured she had an ear infection since she had a runny nose for a month, has not been eating ANYTHING since last week, the fever, up at night (she is normally a fabulous sleeper) so I took her to the dr. tonight and they said the dreaded word~ VIRUS. Glad she does not need antibiotics but that means no end in sight for now....

Easter 2009

We had a busy great Easter. Did an Easter egg hunt with the girls at home, went to Aunt Lee's for brunch, then to Grama & Papa's for dinner and ANOTHER egg hunt!

Any celebration would not complete in our family if we did not do it/celebrate it more than once. We took all the kids over to Nonny & Opa's for an Easter egg hunt, some 4-wheeling, Cadillac driving & dinner the day before Easter.

This was Gwen's first year getting to help color Easter eggs. We did it on Good Friday and Aunty Mandy was here to help the girls! Bella looks forward to this every year! She did the decorating/dying all by herself this year!
